meet josh bray
Business leader. Rancher. Christian. conservative. Lifelong Northeast Texan.
Josh Bray was born and raised in Paris. His life reflects the values that shaped this region: faith, hard work, and service to others.
Josh grew up in a family that believed in showing up, pitching in, and taking care of the people around you. After graduating from Paris High School, he earned a Finance degree and a Master’s in Marketing from the University of Alabama, followed by ranch management training at TCU. Those years taught him responsibility, long days, and the importance of treating people with respect.
Josh began his career in sanitation services and utility construction before founding Sanitation Solutions. He built the company into a regional operation serving 65 cities and leading a workforce of 150. He attributes that success to hands-on work, long hours, and leading by example.
After selling the business, Josh continued serving the community that raised him. His leadership includes:

The faith and conservative values of this district shaped who I am. I was raised to wake up early, work hard, and live a life of meaning that honors my responsibilities to God, family, and community. That’s why I’ve devoted so much time and energy to shaping a better future by improving our education system, workforce, job opportunities, and health care. Our home is worth fighting for, and I’m ready to take up that cause in the Texas House."

Josh and his wife Beth have been married for 20 years. They are raising their daughters, Anniston and AnneLee, in the same community that shaped their own lives and faith.
With Representative VanDeaver retiring, Josh is stepping forward to serve House District 1 with a clear plan, a clear spine, and the Christian values and conservative principles that define Northeast Texas.
